I am having a major problem with a 91 tsi awd 5 speed, I have put 3 dif sets of clutches and flywheels in this car,and with the car sitting still,I put my foot on the brake, release the clutch and it slips bad,I have done alot of these cars and cant understand what the problem is. Everything in the clutch and flywheel assy. is fine. Could it be in the t case, rear end or center dif? The hydrolics are good. I bought this car recently and dont know if it was towed wrong... thx, mark.

Might be possible that your slave rod isn't retracting fast enough and still is putting force on the fingers of your PP. Check that out.

I bet your problem is your center diff. Check the fluid in your transfer case. if it is low, or out, it will feel like the clutch is slipping, but its not. Does the speedometer and the tach go up at the same rate when its slipping?
