I juts got my 1 g eclips...i would like to know how much the stock engine can take ?

This is what i have APR head bolts/ and thicker headgasket... what do u guys think ?

I would like to hit 450 - 500 fwhp

All i have right now is 650 cc injectors and super afc, small 16 g turbo.

I need i need more stuff .... any one can direct me the right way ?

What kinda turbo i need , manifold,,, etc.....

The stock internals have been know to be able to take over 400hp but at those levels you have to budget for repairs and downtime because even with a prefect tune i wouldnt trust a 17 year old engine to last that long at those power levels, so make sure you keep up on the maintence. There is also a step by step upgrade list on tuners so check that out to see what your next mod. should be

Find a junkyard 6 bolt block. Hone it and start from there.


Build it from the ground up. Who cares if it takes you a while. It'll be worth it to have something reliable.
