Your cases have been the only ones I have heard about their new manifolds cracking. I've had mine since last winter and drive mine daily year round with no problems at all. I also had the SBR port and polish job done on it. Did they replace your 2nd unit (assuming you didn't get the port and polish job again)?

I am still waiting for them to get more in. I have been waiting for over 2 months and they are saying it will be another month before they get more in. I have a mitsu club meet and show coming up October 14th and really wanted to get it replaced before then. I'm very disappointed with this whole situation.

SBR said they had an issue with cracking on the first batch of manifolds on the origional design without the external WG flange. I have one of their origional design manifold that was the newer batch & wasn't supposed to have the cracking issue. When I took off my heat shield this past spring to do some mods I found 2 nice cracks on the outside of the mani in the collector area. I'm not sure what the inside looks like as I haven't had the turbo off yet, guess I'll find out next spring. So I found the cracks after 6 months of use, it wasn't even "used" enough to have surface rust on it yet :notgood:

I got my SBR manifold in May i believe from Dejontool. Anyway mine cracked after 1-2 weeks of using it. Looking at Neozeros diagram mine cracked right at where the number 2 bolt is. The washer was covering for the crack. Although it was small you could definitely tell it was leaking. I called slowboy about this and they told me it would take a while and that i would have to be put on list as well. Frankly i didn't have time to wait so i took it to my local welder. He cleaned the area(made the crack even bigger) and then welded it with stainless steel i believe. Either way i paid 10 bucks to get it fixed and had my car running that same day. The warranty is voided but i don't care. It would of cost me the same to ship it to them and then having to wait a long time for one i just didn't have the patience for that considering my car is my daily driver.

Great I hate reading things like this makes me look under the hood more and more each day. The only thing I noticed with mine is a little rust that brushed away and now there looks like little bubble pits all over cant see them unless your a foot away from it weird. Like I dont have enough to worry about.

from what i understand i been wondering too, if you want to recir it you have to customize it or have a exhuast shop weld it.I heard its hard to weld to a stock 02 houseing, so i guess most people dump it, but what i am gonnna do is what rowlex did he had punishment 02 dump, he had the dump cut off and welded shut and welding it back to 02 hosueing , this is what he showed me

I'm doing this as well, how did it work out? Any problems?

Anyone else tried this?
