Alrighty, well this is my first topic on this website so hello to all of you! :thumb:

Down to business though, I have a 1995 Eclipse GS with a 1995 silver paint job. Obviously, the paint needs to be done over for a 14 year old car!

So I started browsing around for ideas when I came across Saronno Red, it had me right away.

I also recently ordered four 17 Inch ADR Rims which can be seen here:
17 INCH ADR RIMS WHEELS 5 LUG Matrix Camry Accord Golf:eBay Motors (item 120434531961 end time Jun-20-09 21:10:55 PDT)

Sorry for the long link. :p

So with the black wheels and sharp red paint, I decided to shop around to black out my taillights and headlights and found these:

AVS Headlight Covers - Smoke for 95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse at Andy's Auto Sport

GTS Taillight Covers - Blackout (Smoke) for 95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse at Andy's Auto Sport

My plan is to get my car repainted Saronno Red and install the new ADR wheels and smoke out my headlights and taillights.

Now I just need some opinions on my idea. Any input is appreciated! I look forward to becoming more involved with this forum!

You got the same name I do....and you have a 2g eclipse that you want to paint soronna red, and I have a 2g that is soronna red. Co-ink-e-dink.

Anyways, I love R87 Soronna red, whenever I repaint my car I am going the same color. It also goes nice with black accents. Those wheels look pretty good too. Your plan sounds nice. Should look good.

Ha, that is pretty crazy.

But thanks for the feedback. The wheels are actually sitting in the living room now in their boxes. They look great! It's just a matter of getting it painted first. I would like to have it painted then add the wheels, taillights, and headlights. But that's just me. Thanks again!
