So I bought my car 8 months ago from a friend, It was in limp mode. I pulled the TCU under the dash and it looked and smelt fine. But I decided to buy a reprogrammed one. After putting the reprogrammed TCU in I was no longer in limp mode. But had no O/D or 2nd gear. So I replaced the solenoids with the F4A33 solenoids from Makco transmission, the unique solenoid "mount plate design" allows kit to replace both port (O-Ring) and flat solenoid styles. And now my car is in limp mode and wont come out. Any suggestions? Thanx Jake.
