What's the best solvent to soak the transmission solenoids in to thoroughly clean them better. I'm going to try cleaning my solenoids better and put in 2 new seperator plates in my valve body and see if I csn fix my problems that arose after installing shift kit.
I emailed John at ipt but he won't answer because I didn't buy the kit off him I suppose.
I also tried to ask him about the one hole thst you plug and then redrill and how I won't be able to do so because I clearly don't have a plug.
And lastly I wanted to know if by my valve body not functioning properly if any of my clutch packs may be burnt up now? I'm gonna junk the car out if it comes down to needing the trans rebuilt then it's no longer worth having to me.
Sorry I have made a third post.basically about the same thing, but no one is looking at my other 2 posts now and I just have these specific questions.
On a side note, the last time in drained the trans fluid it still was a decent red just slightly darker but still smelled like regular trans fluid no change in color and there hasn't been any larger chunks of metal in my pan just tiny shavings like normal
