Beaumont,
This question is for my 1992 Talon TSi. The car was bought with a thrown timing belt which resulted in a row of bent valves.
Here is what has been done:
Head cleaned and resurfaced
Good valves placed in with new valve guides
All new gaskets from the head up
New coil packs
New Power transmitter
New plugs and wires
All hoses replaced
New Battery, alternator checked and is still good
New belts
New timing adjuster (The part with the pin you have to compress when setting the timing belt on).

Here is the problem, it is doing the exact same thing it was doing when the head was bad. The car doesn't sputter or get exhaust farts. You can smell fuel after cranking on it for about 20 seconds. You can hear the relay under the dash engage and the fuel pump prime when you first turn the key. It will turn over nice and smooth without any hesitation. The timing was rechecked by way of physically re-doing it. There was fire going to only 1 and 4, and so the coil packs were changed. Then the fire was still only at 1 and 4 so the Power Transmitter was found to be bad and it was replaced.
What is my next logical move to getting this car to run? I was lucky to find the Power Transmitter, now I am REALLY lost! I DID however remember to check the timing beltS and not just one.
Thank you all for your help!
Travis
It will just not start!

I've replaced the fuse a couple of times, but it was with a used one at first, and what I was sure was a new the second time (this may make me an idiot, but I MAY have put the original back in on the 2nd attempt because I tossed it in my toolbox with some others).
I will try pulling the rail in the morning. Do you have AOL IM Buck? Mine is S5ATeam.
I do have an extenguisher, and I will remember to not smoke!

Calling all cars!
Thanks to all so far, I think we are getting close to solving this! I am absolutely priveledged to be a part of DSMTuners.com!!! I have been a member for a while, and now that I need you guys, you have all been there! Thanks to Mike at RoadRaceEngineering.com, and to Tom Stangl and Dave Buschur for their expertise so far! Thanks to ALL those who have responded to my problem in this post!!!!! I am going NUTS!!!!!!!!

Okay, all the injectors are spraying and they appear to spray in the right order. However, the spray was very weak... is this is supposed to be? I can't see the engine running with as little fuel as is there.
I pulled the fuel line from the filter, it did nothing when I turned the key to on. And while cranking, it came out in what I can only describe as "globs". I am replacing the fuel filter with a high flow, and checking my pump.
Any other suggestions?

Dare I say we might be seeing the end of the Tunnel?

You guys are not going to believe this....
And I will understand if you all come down here to Texas to just literally kick my **s...
In fact, Anyone that reads this post will get a full understanding up troubleshooting techniques and the things to look for with nearly all starting issues.
Let me recap...
1. The coil pack for 2/3 was bad, so the entire unit was replaced. By the way, the 92 has 3 wires to the plug, and the 90 has 4. It was a 90 that was hard-wired in and the tach wire was then run directly to my Monster Tach. It was the only one in stock that day, so I used the end plug from my 90 AWD.
2. No compression on any cylinder, head was pulled and it discovered that the entire row of exhaust valves was bent. Replaced and all new gaskets, valve guides and valves.
3. No start. Drained tank, replaced fuel pump with known working pump, there was NO fuel pumping.
4. No start. Did a circuit check on the Power Transistor, and it was bad on one side. Replaced it with new one (I highly recommend NEW).
5. No start. Replaced MPI fuse, and MPI relay with known good parts from a 90 AWD.
6. No start. ECU? CAS? set the timing with TDC and then reset the CAS correctly. Removed the ECU and got hold of a known good one and plugged that up.
7. No start. The KG ECM was returned, with a 20% restocking fee. Started checking all relays. Who has time? Replaced all sensors but TPS from the 90. The CAS from the 90 had to be hard-wired in. Even the Magnet clutch relay was replaced.
8. (Thanks to Buck!) Checked fire, was all good and in the correct order. Compression was 145 +/- 2 across the board. Replaced injectors, fuel found in the rail. Dampened rag with fuel and it lit up just from heat from a flame, fuel is good enough to ignite. Replaced o-rings, and also replaced pressure regulator.
9. No start. Pulled rail and saw that the injectors were firing, and in order. Not too well, but they were working. Went after the fuel filter and a Walbro fuel pump.
10. Did not order the pump, and I will return the filter for the moment (19.99 WIX). While at the parts store, my Dad was telling me about a machine he worked on once. He checked everything by themselves, and it was all found good. Desperate to fix it, he replaced everything, every switch. It suddenly worked. So I bought some Bosch platinum plugs.
Let this be a lesson... mainly to me... where's there's smoke does not mean there is FIRE!!!!!!
11. It starts right up! I replaced the plugs.

You guys can cuss me anytime now. I feel like sh*t.
