Ok guys, here's the deal. I have an engine that I just built up for my daily driver. The specs are as follows:
-'91 6-bolt .020" over
-stock crank
-2G .020" over pistons
-Federal Mogul rings
-Clevite 77 bearings
-2G head(ported)
-ARP hardware
-1G CAS wired into 2G crank and cam sensors
-EVO 16G ported
-Gasket matched porting on exhaust/intake manifolds
-3" turbo-back
-Fuel pump rewire
-FMIC with 3" hard-piping all the way
-MafT setup
-1G BOV
I think that is about it. Well, now for the problem......I kept blowing the I/C coupling off my lower piping while trying to break the car in. Now I have that fixed and drove the car about 20 miles today and the thing is very hesitant when accelerating and EXTREMELY reluctant from a stop. I know that a new engine is gonna have those symptoms since nothing is sealed, but is anything sounding abnormal since I have driven the car 20 miles? Should I just keep driving the car and see where it takes me or is something wrong here?
I cannot really tell just how much smoke is coming out the exhaust because I am burning off all the oil on my downpipe from when my engine blew. Is there some condition of the break-in that I need to meet to help seal everything, or is the key to just drive the engine a while and hope for the best. Just looking for a little advice on the matter and all at this point in the game.
Thanx guys, anything from experience will help.......

I forgot a few things. The boost only reaches about 8-10psi and it has the EVO III spring that should be 14lb in it. The compressor nipple is going straight to the wastegate for now, so it is spring pressure only. Also, when you get into it.....the car is very hesitant and the A/F gauge reads between stoich and a little rich. Before I blew my engine, when you barely got into it....the A/F would go grren and stay there, not it doesn't. I don't know if the the rewire was done somewhat wrong and there is not enough fuel and the car cuts out when it hits 8 psi or what. The MafT is set to all "0" because the car has stock injectors and ignition, just the rewired f/p. The porting/polishing should not have effected the car sinceit was only gasket matching and all.
Just looking for some advice from you guys. You have sen problems like this before and all.
Thanx guys,
