New ECU needed but unsure how to find one.

I have a 98 eclipse spyder stock ECU for a 2.4L Non turbo, i have a 2.0L Turbo engine in it, came that way when i bought it and i dont know what year that engine is and i have not been able to contact the last owner. All i know is that it is a 2g GST engine from what i have been told and i need a new ECU and possibly a harness for it. It is a 5 speed manual with Front wheel drive. Not really sure what to look for in a ECU when i don't know the year of the engine that is in it.

It doesn't really matter what year the engine is but what year all the sensors are for. I'm not familiar with the 2.4 to 2.0 swap but in general any 98-99 turbo car ecu should work but if you have had smog equipment removed you will get a check engine light(nothing major but it will look for smog stuff that isn't there).

If it was me I would go safest bet to ensure it works and get a 95 EPROM ECU and get ECMlink as that will enable you to adjust any and all settings that are pissed off by the swap.
