I just got a 96 eagle talon tsi awd, and i am pretty familiar with modifying cars because i have put a turbo on my integra. The talon has some mods to it, it has: New transmission from Team Rip Engineering with upgraded shift forks
ACT 2600 Clutch w/ street disc
Forced Performance T-28 Turbo running 16-18psi
Greddy Big FMIC
Turbo XS Blow off valve
Buschur Racing 3in turbo back exhaust
Defi Boost, fuel and egt gauges
Has a short shift kit and a stiff shift kit

My plans are to put in 560-580cc injectors with a walboro 255 fuel pump, and a fuel pressure regulator, tuned with an safc. What have other people experienced with this setup. I am also looking at upgrading to a larger turbo eventually.

I went 12.31@110 with an FP big t28 on the stock longblock and no upgraded tranny. You should have a pretty quick car with a good driver.

it really depends on how much you upgrading your turbo for the injectors and safc2... If this is a year or two down the road, your setup looks fine. If you are going to do a larger turbo soon, maybe consider larger injectors + dsm link now so you don't double spend later. Make a good turbo game plan to save money now and for the future, size up your injectors and tuning, you'll be set.

What was your setup? Did you have stock fuel system? Were you running any ems?
I think that if i put in 560-580cc injectors and a 255 lph fuel pump and a fuel pressure regulator, the safc, and i want to put in an avcr, but right now there is a manual boost controller, but after i tune it with the safc, i think that it will run better because it will be tuned, and it will be quicker and am hoping for 12 second time slips in this high altitude.

I had the turbo, 510cc injectors, safc II, act 2600, dejon front mount, full 3 in exhaust. Stock ecu, no fpr and a manual boost controller.

Have you had your car dynoed? I am going to have mine dynoed with the safcI, and 580cc injectors and hopefully turn up the boost to 20 pounds, but i will let my tuner decide whether that boost is safe. What do you have your boost set up?
