Anyone ever used the black bride's out of an evo? Would like to see what they would look like.

Yea recaro's, my bad was thinking bride's. Amazing how newbs are quick to reference the search button to others but never want to use it themselves.

Because Evo 8 & 9 seats are in a ton of threads. Use the search it isnt hard. Not to mention its not on this topic because evo seats are not Brides.

I kno I kno... I said my bad give me a break man. I know how to use the search button alright, my bad. I appoligize for any inconvenience.

I'm a newb? I've been here since late 2007. I just never post on Tuners I use Talk for most of my stuff.

Okay well i finally got them in, all i have is my stupid camera phone so heres a few crappy pictures. Il try to steal my girlfriends camera later this week and take some better ones after i get my harness in.

tell her to deal with it, you gotta stay on top of your chick bro. i told mine if she dont like my car she can drive everywhere she said "ill be ok" hahaha

ROFL mine just drives everywhere, we didn't even need to have that convo ROFL

the seats look good, you can look into those seatbelt cg locks instead of getting a harness. they work just as good IMO, my good friend had them on his evo IX seatbelts and your butt wasn't sliding anywhere when we'd start cornering hard. CG-Lock CG Lock Performance Add On For Your Seat Belt they are a lot cheaper too!

:dsm:

There was a little drilling required because the ebay brackets didnt bolt up perfectly, only 3 of the holes lined up to the holes on the floor, but im sure if you go with a different ebay company you wont have problems. 1995-1999 ECLIPSE RACING SEATS BRACKET 1996 1997 1998 : eBay Motors (item 220541302695 end time Jan-20-10 18:52:08 PST) :nono:

Wow i kinda wish i had saw that CG-Lock earlier, the harness is becoming a pain in the ass to install :ohdamn: but it looks good :thumb:

And the girl b$%ched for a while but weve both gotten used to them and i personally think their pretty comfy. :)

I keep thinking about getting aftermarket seats and removing my backseat..
The leather is heavy stuff but comfortable and it looks good! :D

Thanks, did the rails that come with the brides bolt directly to the bracket or did you also have to drill that part out too? Thanks.

Dude didn't I tell you how it was done. You're posting all over this thread like the concept is hard. Just buy Bride brackets and don't be cheap. You'll thank me later.

so yepes281 how much was a set? these would break me, my part time pay might not be able to get me seats LOL

I bought the same seats. The total was $400 shipped for the seats, $250 shipped for legit Bride rails, and $90 shipped for generic daily driving camlock harnesses. I'm not tracking the car currently so I'm not worried aout getting race spec camlocks.
