I just recently installed the Turbo XS RFL blow off valve and did not adjust it at all, I installed it as is. The blow off valve came with washers for soft and hard adjustments id imagine. The problem is since I installed it my car has been stalling out very often and the idle is very rough. I also have a valve pinging at the top of the motor but ive been told that could be a timing problem. I am asking for help from anyone that knows anything about adjusting the turbo XS BOV.
Thankyou
P.S- I do have a vacuum leak coming from the PCV valve because of a stripped valve cover.

are u dumping into the atmosphere or running it back through the air intake

If your dumping to the atmosphere thats why. No doubt.
But I forget if that one is the one where u cant plumb it back in

You say you have a valve "PINGING"

what kind of ping...i dont imagine it could make a ping a ping like a tick or slap or something...is it lifter tick or are u sure it ur valve...you might have some valve tap...prolly good to ripthe head off and have no valves and seals put in and allthat other good stuff.

But whatever the case....check back.

Yea running our cars with venting BOVs doesn't work well - the ECU is adding fuel for air that isn't there (the air is being vented out) so you are running rich. All is not lost though, you can buy a GM MAF and translator for $259 from Hollywood performance = http://www.hollywoodperformanceusa....t=&page=&xid=3f4162e766ee391b479a820a3477762c

Search on info how to install it (pretty straight forward I think). Good luck!

To conclude this session, I adjusted the tension on the BOV with 5 washers so there is absolutly no idle leak. To fix the rough idle and pinging on top end I actually just adjusted the ICS and I have it idling at 800 RPM and it is running smooth as hell. Thanks everyone:thumb:
