It been awhile since I posted here last. Last year I ran the ole' 18g to death with a 11.2 at 124. I've upgraded this year to PTE 3561sp with a .63 5 bolt housing. With the change came alot of bugs that I had to fight all summer long. From over-revs ruining flywheels, fighting the tune, and just plain bad luck. This past weekend finaly came together with help of some local dsm'ers at hand to make me give them a show. Boost was set at 35 psi.

This is with a stock built bottom end, cams, and intake manifold along with street tires. Car weighs 2650 with me in it and I drove it 30min to and from the track. I'm trying to make it out one more time to get a good launch to hopfully get a 10.7 or so.

Here's the vid thanks to T.J .

Good job man. Im hoping to be in the 10 second bracket after my 6 bolt swap and some tuning. I have the greddy 18g which i will be running for the mean time until i get my FP3065 set up on the way. "stock built bottom end"

man props to your weight reduction, 2650 with u in the car, all i have to say is wow man:rocks:

In that first vid, it looks like the other dsm you raced had some trouble getting out of the hole. Looks like if he could have got it out of the hole, he might have gotten you.

haha j/k Angelo, great going last weekend!

BTW, to others that was me he raced in the first vid, but the car rolled through the trees and I fubarred the launch.

Wow, amazing times for stock cams and intake manifold, along with very simple motor work!

That weight reduction helps out a ton! I imagine a set of 272 or 280cams along with a JMF SMIM would be perfect for that 35r, definitely a 30-50whp difference with boost that high!

You just might of got me for sure Dan but the GTK just didn't get the kill..... this time. It's like the damn thing hunted me down in the staging lanes. Last I saw, you were like 10 cars ahead of me. :D

Good job. Lower that 60ft and you'll be in the mid 10's for sure.

Looks like a set of slicks or really good drag radials would help out a lot. Your 60' and your 1/8 would go down quite a bit. Seems to me that you should be able to get down to 6.8 or 6.7 in the 1/8 easily if you could get some traction. Great times though for a stock build. Good luck with lowering that number.
