New adapter/vacuum line-Boost gauge

Other night I was doing WOT on 3rd gear and my car felt like it didn't want to boost. By then I knew I had a boost leak, and I had a feeling it was the plastic vynil hose that came with the AutoMeter boost gauge which came off again. I put rtv previously so that it stays put and I guess it didn't.

I know a couple of you guys replaced the plastic hose and fitting. So what size adapter barb fitting will work with the Autometer Ultra-light carbon fiber boost gauge? Also, what recommended vacuum hose size should I get.

The plastic line has never given me a problem, but if you want to replace it with a long silicone line then thats fine. Take your boost gauge, go to home depot and find a barb fitting that will fit. Then run the new silicone line from the gauge to where it is tapped under the engine bay.

I just used RTV and double cable-tied all connection on the T barb fitting that came with the autometer guage. Held 24psi for me with all that
