New 4G63t Book

i see it the same way, the 4G63 is basically the 350 of the import world...

It might just seen this way because we are so familiar with it. each group of car people prob are saying the same thing. my 02

I never knew about the origin of our engines, almost two decades later, its seems more kick but than ever, look at the vendors and the parts still being made for our platforms, and even the swaps into 2gs, if i get rid of my 1g doubt it i can still put the 4g63 in to it Love it.

...in barnes and nobles they have these books by the same people for most import cars, except ours....glad to see they finally got a good one!

Sounds like the Max Performance book is getting good reviews thus far. But nobody has commented on the Buscher book that 2slow4now mentioned. Has anyone picked it up? I only saw a negative review of 1 out of 5 stars on Amazon.

I purchased the Buscher Book about a year ago and that book was geared more to the EVO's not the 1G or 2G's that we all love. So hopfully the Max-Performance Mitsubishi 4G63t Engines will be a better buy.

I read the reviews on amazon for the Buscher Book and they all said it was more an "advertisement" for Buscher more so then a book and the pics all look like cell phone pics with horrible quality, no real technical info... From what i've read i'd stay away from that book but i just picked up the Max-Performance Mitsubishi 4G63t Engines book and we'll see how this one turns out...

I wish I read the reviews before I bought this book. Its is like advertising for Buscher racing and they're history. I wasted money on it that I don't have.

Hey, found this thread looking for reviews of my book. I'm glad you guys like it. I went to Robert at RRE for technical advice and to check my research. The goal was to cover every version of the 4g6X engines with lots of info on the turbo versions, including evo.

The evo engine made it on the cover because it was the prettiest engine Robert had laying around when I was there to shoot the cover

I tried to give a lot of background and history in the book so that even hardcore DSMers and Evo guys would find something interesting, along with all the up-to-date tech stuff. The 4g63t is one of the all-time great motors, and I'm sure it will go down in history like the 350chev, ford flathead and many others.

If you want to buy a copy send me a PM, I have a few that I will sell for a discount if you promise to put a truthful review on amazon.com. Unfortunately I already gave away all my free copies or I would offer some of those.
