So I just finished rebuilding a 93 6-bolt Talon TSI AWD. From all of the reading I have done it's got the right parts for what I want but I am having a bi*** of a time getting it tuned. My Palm with Pocket logger got stolen when the car got broken into (which is what started the whole rebuild) so tuning on my own right now is not really an option. The car has JE 8.5:1 forged pistons, HKS 272 In/Ex Cams, Eagle Rods, 1mm o/s exhaust Ferrea valves, mild porting on exhaust side, balance shafts removed, small 16g, RC 550cc injectors, Aeromotive AFPR, SAFC 2, EVO III manifold, Buschur 1 piece downpipe, FMIC, 2g MAF, and probably a couple other things that I have forgotten. The car has a bunch of chassis bits on it too, but I can't get it to take full throttle. Seems like FUel cut, but the DSM Chips Eprom ECU should have taken care of that. So now I am stuck having to have someone take a look at it. I have a newborn at home that is taking up my ability to do the work hands on, so anyone that is capable or can recommend someone, please let me know. Thanks. Email work too. I don't get on the board too much unfortunately. [email protected]

So After driving all day in the car (got it smogged!) I was able to figure out that the car is pulling timing because it starts knocking BAD at anything over about 60% throttle per the SAFC. Is it possible that base timing is advanced too far? I didn't set it (a mechanic friend set it based on his "experience") Any suggestions would be great just to get a head start. I know without logging equipment of some kind I am basically beating my head against a wall but a good starting point would be helpful. Thanks again for any advice
