Okay so I have a three prong switch.

I got some interior neons that i wanna hook up(dont worry it doesnt look rice)

I want to wire them to the switch so i can turn them on and off whenever i want.

I was playing around with the wires and tryin to wire them to the swtich and its not working. I need some help!

On one of the prongs I have a constant 12v source and the red wire from the light. On the other I have the black from the light to the ground.

I turned the switch on and it came on for about a second then it shut off now its not working anymore.

look at the prongs ... one is for positive one is for negative and i foregot what the third is for LMAo sorry if this doesnt help

Wire it without the switch real fast, it should come on then. Then just take the ground and cut it in half where you want to put the switch and wire that into the switch. I did this with my power inverter that i hard wired in under the driver seat and it works perfectly.
