Need some help with my CEL codes

Hey guys My '95 talon tsi is throwing three codes P1500, P0400, and P0420. Now I know what the 420 and 400 are, but dont know what the mean.. and I dont know what the 1500 is. If anyone could help me i would be very greatful! thanks

well p0400 is your egr (exhaust gas rercirculation) either valve stuck open, or solenoids bad. This aint really a bad thing unless your annoyed by the cel. Then p0400 is your catalytic (if you have one) its probably dirty. And the last one i cant really help you with that one good luck.

your best bet is to just get a haynes manual and look the codes up in that. That way you know for sure what everything is and if you have anymore problems in the future you already have the book to reference. I dont know if you tried that already but thought Id throw that out there.

The 1500 code is generator field. This can be caused by two things, 1 ecm is not reading generator, generator could be faulty field circuit or bad ecm both need to be tested.

Hey guys, my car just recently started throwing these codes out,P0136 O2 sensor circuit,P0335 ckp sensor and P1400 emmission controler sensor any ideas as to what could be causing these codes all of a sudden? Thx in advance for any replys.
