Hey,
I just bought my 91 TSi AWD less than a week ago and ive got some decent plans for it. Right now it is leaking boost and I made the leak detector and it sounds like the TB, so while i change that gasket i figure ill get a UICP from dejontool. And when I went to look at it it asks what type of flange for the BOV, now im going to rebuild and replace a lot of thigns and i heard the stong BOV doesnt work well above 18 psi so I figure ill get a new BOV. But im not sure which one to get.

Also my chage piping is looking pretty shotty so i want to replace it, but i figure while im in there and replacing piping why not do a FMIC. So basically what i want to do is this:
FMIC
dejontool UICP
new BOV(if needed?)
dejontool CAI

And also im picking up a 3" gm mas and a maft so im not sure if i can use that with all of this as well. Could someone please help out?

if a gm maft is your plan - get that first -- then get i/c piping and intake pipe thats for a gm maft. just get one flanged for a 1g bov and ya will be fine.

i know the 2g stock bov are garbage but cant the 1g valves support higher than 18psi..?? you can always get a crushed 1g valve. if you want an aftermarket valve get one where you have the option to recirculate. jus do a search on "bov" and youll get more info than you can handle.
