need some help AUDIO QUESTION

i just put new speakers in my ride and i noticed i have this component under my passenger seat, it says on the top of it mb quart, two way cross over?? anyone know what the hell this is used for. i know its a crossover type deal but can someone explain that shit to me..

So you meant to say "I paid someone else to put speakers in my car."

Were they component speakers?? That's the crossover to split the signal between the woofer and the tweeter.

no i didnt pay anybody to put speakers in my car dumb ass. i got the car couple months ago and the speakers were going out so i decided to put new ones in. SO NO I DIDNT PAY ANYBODY TO PUT SPEAKERS IN..

Well I'm soooo sorry then. Where are MB Quarts in your car, is that what you took out?? It's really not that hard to figure out what a crossover is for, since there are wires going from the crossover to whatever it's splitting.

And chill out, typically, if someone's smart enough to install their own speakers, they know how to follow a line.
