Hey new to the dsm. Game over posted a few times before got somewhat good replies, I'm going to list what all I'm gonna do to My 92 eclipse awd. Turbo,
6bolt motor

Needs rings and bearings,
Full gasket set obviously,
Is it worth running a synthetic bled or full synthetic. If I have 140,000 and all it's had is conventional?
fuel pump front wire
Tubular Turbo manifold,
Crush washers on oil return and pressure side,
3" exhaust
Front mount intercooler
Innovate wideband
750cc injectors
Megasquirt 2 to tune
16g or 20g Turbo if I can find one
255 fuel pump
Boost controller
Turbo timer

With all that would changing cams help? If so what kind and size

If you are doing a full gasket change then there is no issue for the oil you run. The whole conventional oil on xxxxx miles vehicles is from sludge possibly blocking leak points on the gaskets. The synthetic would clean the internals and allows a leak to open IF there was a leak point already.

Why a tubular manifold?
Megasquirt, get ECMLink or go with DS-MAP.
Turbo timers are un needed if you have self control to drive easy you last couple miles to the destination.

Stick with stock cams.

+1 for DSMLink, I recommend a cast mani and taking it easy before shutting it off LOL.
