I ordered them from AFI they are suppose to be Delphi 650cc. The numbers on top are 5047 and 17113814.

They barely go into the fuel rail but go way deeper into the block that the normal ones so when i try puting them in theres a gap between the fuel rail and the spacers that the bolts go through.

If you are talking about the green one on the left it looks like FIC's. I have the same ones. The seals seem to be sitting properly and it should be fine. Make sure you lubricate the top and bottom o-rings before sliding the injectors in.

Yea the green one on the left are the new ones. They fit so much differently thats why I asked. I shouldnt need bigger spacers when upgrading to these should I, I thought they were a direct drop in.

You are probably putting them in slightly sideways causing the pintle cap to hit the head ad not go into the hole like it is supposed to. Try putting them all in the fuel rail first. Then start the three fuel rail bolts a few threads. Then push the injectors down into the head while you wiggle them to make sure they go all the way in. Make sure the bottom o-ring is all the way down into the hole and that the top of the o-ring is even with the top of the hole. Then tighten the bolts down.

I have crushed pintle caps one time because they didn't go in perfectly straight. That is why I started putting them in with the method above.

It doesnt matter if they stick in the bore a little further. Just make sure you have them up in the rail as far as they will go, then if there is a little space just use the fuel rail bolts to "suck" them down. They should be fine.

Ok I went out and played with them and they ended up going a little further and I just tightened the bolts down to close the gap between the spacer and fuel rail...I couldnt put them in the fuel rail first though because they dont go up in far enough to stay put they fell out.

Thank you guys :thumb: Now I get to have fun attempting to tune it. I feel another post coming within the next few weeks or days haha.
