synchromesh question, need quick response

ok, i decided to throw in some new transaxle oil

is quaker state synchromesh the same as pennzoil synchromesh the same as bm synchromesh? what weight is this oil? should i or should i not put it in my 2g fwd manual tranny car?

as long as its a GL-4 hypoid oil it will be fine...but its not the same as BM Syncrosmesh

bm synchroSHIFT is different

i have 3 qt's quaker state synchromesh im about to throw in to the transaxle. unless anyone tells me explicitly why not, im going to go and do so.

WHY DID I NOT DO THIS UNTIL NOW??

upshifting feels much less resistant and more smooth. shifting from any gear is less notchy. there is less vibration in my cabin, much less vibration from the clutch and gas pedals...it seems like every single thing this lube could help has been helped tremendously.

everyone needs to do this. now. $15 feels like a new tranny.

Are there different weights with synchromesh? And is ordering BM synchroshift online the only way to get it?

theres only one kind of synchromesh
has no weight or any specifications on it at all, which was weird, but i like it

i dunno about the bm stuff, but from some searchign most people say its pretty much the same.

thats exactly how my car felt when i changed my tranny oil. Of course it went back to shifting like crap few weeks later.
