need new rheostat (dimmer switch)

I need to know where I can find a dashlight dimmer switch for my 1996 Mitsubishi eclipse. I have looked @ machv they only carry 1G's, extreme psi, numoriuos parts places on the web, slowboy, dsmparts, etc. Need this part, mine is fried. Let me know ASAP. Need for night time driving.

When you find out just how expensive a new 2g dimmer is (which is a control unit - not just a reostat like in the 1g) which you are only likely to get at the dealer, you may decide to go used or do this fix: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?p=151097799#post151118284. This fix keeps the dash lights on full intesity when headlights are on (but at least will save you mucho $ for a new one). Aside note: Some people incorrectly wire return power (or power) through the dimmer to run other things which burns it out.
