hello,
Well i am at the in of my build and i guess i'm going to do something with this shitty suspension setup. I don't know what clown decided to do this to this car but it's dumb as hell. The car has red lowering springs in the back i think eibach and some teal ones up front that i have no idea what brand they are. Bottom line is this car is too damn low and a pain in the ass. You can't even put a jack underneath it without running the car up on bricks or something. If i kept this setup i was going to et a set of those really low rubber ramps for lowered cars. My question is i want a setup that is going to be good for the track and just as easy to drive down the shitty wv streets. i want a setup that i don't have to drive on ramps just to fit a jack under it! I was looking at the eibach pro kit it's only a 1.3 inch spring. Is that the one that offers the least about of lowering? I would also consider coilovers, i can adjust them to like a inch right? What is the best kind tein? Any help would be appreciated.

Eibach Pro Kit, About $300 shipped and works like a charm. I have it on my GST and my GSX

i see there like a 1.3 inch spring. Can you fit a jack under there without having to run the car up on ramps? any problems scrapeing?

No problems at all, but I do have a racing jack.

Youre going to have to research for the "best" coilover setup but as many others would say, I recommend Koni Yellow shocks with Ground Control coilovers.

If youre just going for the looks and not much performance just throw some springs and shorter shocks on.

Im not seeing how youre having an issue with the jack ordeal, my GSX is temp lowered about 2" with Sprint springs and I can get a full size jack under it.

With prokits, I can BARELY use a full size jack. Some rubbing and force is required to get it under there.
For an easy street setup, Prokits can be had for $230 plus shipping.

But I recommend the above suggestion, Koni yellows + Ground Controls.

I have a caftsman aluminium jack. The low profile one and it will not go under the car at all. I mean no where not the center cross member, not any of the other jack points. When i say it's low i mean LOW. i have been driving the car up on bricks so it's high enough to slide under it, and even then it is very close. I'm not going for looks at all! I could careless really! I'm am looking at the tein coilovers or maybe a set of tein springs. i was looking at the tein springs, which i would get a set of struts too, there are a couple sets that only lower it like .7 inches. I think thats would be fine with me. I just want a stiff spring rate that is not much lower then stock. I will have to research which strut to get though. May be easier to just get a set of tein coilovers. Yeah they cost more, but that way i have full control over the cars suspension.

just look at my picture in my profile, and that is with the car on bricks!
