Eclipse is running like crap out of no where. It started to bog down and lose power. The RPM gauge dropped to 0 sitting at an idle and would only get to about 2500 when you give it gas. When the engine is cold its fine but once it gets warm it acts up. I just replaced the IAC valve thinking it was it and checked for vacuum leaks. If i cant figure it out i might as well sell the car because i dont have the money to keep fixing it :banghead:

hey ill take the car if you want to give it to me and dont want it any more .

No seriously tho, have u ever changed the fuel filter ? did you get bad gass ? Spark plug wires good / tight ? Timing on target?

could be the ecu malufuncting but unlikely, this is usually not intermittent.

Could be any number of sensors failing,

Im assuming there are no cel codes....

This does not sound like a machanical issue because you say its fine until it warms up, so i wouldnt worrie about the engine id start checking and testing sensors and stuff like that.

Doubt it's this... But,
Is the Coolent temp sensor good?

I would be leaning towards this diagnosis. The Coolant Temperature Sensor is notorious for causing erratic behavior.

Good Luck
