Need help with steering wheel install/ SRS air bag system

I'm sorry to revive an old thread, but I was wondering if there were any updates on this (plugging the airbag from an Evo). Has anyone tested it yet? Where could we possible figure out the charges in the airbags to compare them? Since the wiring would still be the same length, I guess that is the only thing that would differ in the system.

Don't try to re-engineer the airbag system. At all.
