i got a 1G laser rs turbo..... all new motor. it started and ran a few times in the yard. it shut off and will not start. i have changed the following / coil pack and the resister , cam position sensor, plugs wires, ignition relay.it does not have a cam sensor on this model. still no spark. it has a MSD programmable ignition with boost retard. and a duel ignition adapter (msd)any help with this would be great as im in the car much more then i would ever get

i would like to remove the msd stuff and see if it is that. trying to see how it is suppose to be wired. i was not the one that did it and have a hard time looking for the diagrams. i know it should be simple just have not been able to figure it out

would anybody know what wires i need to move re connect or a link i can check out.

Considering the stock ignition is easily good for more hp than the average dsm'er is aiming for, I'd look for the manuals for those msd components and read the install instructions and attempt to de-install those items.

the problem is that the car is insane for high end parts. the old motor dino at 480 hp at the wheel. it blew a 4"x5" hole in the block(piston rod) it is well was stupid fast and so fun to drive. i would like to wire the oem up just to see if it is the problem due to the cost of a new one . the msd has a launch /burnout mode duel ignition adpt ignition with the boost retard so much that i dont know what a lot of it all does or how it works i have been working on this car for 5 years now wife says its the most expensive lawn decor LOL. installed new motor and relays sensors ect i have a book but it is not very helpfull due to it covers the other 1g cars

Thinking of getting a new coil pack, was thinking of going with MSD coil pack and everything. Is it better to go with OEM coil pack and run MSD / NGK spark plugs and lines or what's the best thing to do

OEM Coilpack. NGK BPR6ES or BPR7ES with some NGK Wires or you can go with thicker MSD wires or I've heard good things about Taylor and Magnecore wires. NGK will do just fine though.
