I just but on a turbonetics exhaust manifold on my car with a tial 38 mm waste gate and now I can't shut my hood. What can I do to get it to shut with out putting a big dent in the hood?

You could take it to a shop to have an adaptor made to displace the wastegate to position that doesn't hit the hood.

It dosen't hit on the bracket it hits right on the sheet metal

Take it to a machine shop have them cut it and re-angle the both flanges, buy a new one that is known to fit your application, or cut/modify the hood to fit .

Is this a question you're really having to ask? Do you suspect there may be a magical answer to be found somewhere on the internaweb?

You'll have to either devise a different mounting, or start cutting metal.
