Read about a dozen other messages on this topic, but hard for me to comprehend a lot of the material. I don't know what all these different parts are called and so I'm  .

Well I had someone I meant over ebay do the Jeep conversion for me. And well I dunno if everything was done porperly. I did have a mechanic friend of mine check it out and have it installed for me, and he said it looked good except for he thinks it needs the washer nipple/nozzle thing on the TB. Hope that makes sense, here's a pic of the TB so you guys can see whats going on.

Basically when putting it on, we used the gasket from the stock TB. And we had that one extra hose not plugging in anywhere, and thats what my friend was saying is probably doing the high idle. It's kind of hard for me to tell him about this sort of mod because he doesn't speak english and I don't know much of the terminology myself, LOL. So hoping you guys here and break it down to me. :)

What happens is the car goes up all the way to 5500rpms. That little screw thing that helps lower the rpms helps but he can't get it to stay or something he was saying as well.

Well let me know if you guys need more pics or info, I want to try and figure this out as quick as possible. Thanks a bunch in advance!

Do you guys need more pics with different angles or what else can I do to get an answer? heh

Is the butterly shutting all the way? Set the idle set screw to the lowest setting? Is the throttle cable adjusted to the longer travel? Adjust the screw on the throttle cable. Is the Jeep IAC tip long enought so that its touching the TB? I'm betting its one of these problems since I had them when I had the Jeep TB.

Did your mechanic buddy plug the unused manifold hole? You shouldn't use the old gasket. Just make a new gasket from gasket material you can get any local auto shop. Don't worry about that unused tube affecting the idle. Just plug that tube to the vaccum tree at the left side of the manifold. Theres a rubber plug covering a spare vaccum.

Sorry for the long reply guys, but I didn't get this sentence:

"Is the Jeep IAC tip long enought so that its touching the TB?"

Not sure what the IAC looks like and what it shouldn't be touching.

But I find out two problems so far...

Need new gasket material.

Need to plug up that .5" hole on the manifold. Not sure exactly what way to go about it though. I don't know how a screw would keep all the air from leaking through, I mean a screw isn't exactly air tight unless like I'd drill that sucker into the hole or something really bad.

Well thanks a lot for the help so far guys!
