Today all 14b and fuel bolt-ons have finally been completed on my car, and I was spending half the day trying to set up the base boost pressure.
After loosing a lot of time with MBC, which seemed to glitch at first, but started working later. I finally managed to get some logs, and realize that I'm still a newbie.
From RRE, I understand that I should be able to run the 14b@18psi, given that I have all the upgraded fuel delivery system. At the same time, data logs seem to show some issues.
I'm getting 8 counts of knock at ~6200 rpms with boost around 18psi, which causes timing pull, and the knock count keeps increasing to 9 at ~6900 rpms.
It seems, I could easily fix this issue if I could flash the ECU with less aggressive timing map, or richer fuel map, as knocking seems to be pronounced in some trouble regions. But, unfortunately, I don't have an OpenPort 2.0 yet, and I need to do a CAS swap before I can switch the ECU.
So all I can do for now, is to dial boost pressure to a safe value, and, maybe, adjust the fuel pressure.
Talking about the fuel pressure, I have A1000 FPR, which should be set at 43.5 psi, but since the gauge is very inaccurate, and in inaccessible location, this value might be off a little.
This could be very likely, since I have fuel trim low at 7.4%. But I don't know, if that means rich, lean and if LTFT is even used in open loop.
I have attached a log from one of the runs, and I would really appreciate any advice on how I should proceed to get my car to safe base tune, until I get the programmable ECU working, and larger injectors.
I have a feeling I should work like this:
1) Adjust the FPR until fuel trim low is at 0-1% (preferably rich), ECU resets in between?
2) Set the MBC at 18psi and do a 3rd gear pulls logging the same variables as in this log
3) If the knock is above some value (I would say 7), decrease the boost by a little
Is this a sound approach, should I do something else, is there any other advice?

I'm running the 93 octane (98 EU), and the ECU is some weird, 96, metallic one, so it seems that the octane level is wrong in the logs? It's not super fast at logging as well.
