Hello,

I'm having problems with setting up speed density with my car. I bought the plug and play setup to make it as easy as possible.

But for some reason my car won't start. I can plug back in my stock MAF and change settings in ECMLink and it fires right up.

I attached a log. Hoping someone can please take a look and point out any wrong settings.

I bought the SD Bundle (GM-style MAP, IAT, pigtails and bung) http://www.ecmtuning.com/product_info.php?cPath=28&products_id=50

I ran the bung for my IAT in my throttle body intake elbow and just a vacuum line off my manifold for the 4 bar MAP. Then plugged the adapter right into my stock MAF plug. Is there something I'm missing?

By the way I have a Magnus intake manifold.

Thank you

Care to explain? I'm going SD as soon as I get my stuff straight.

When I ran the stock MAF I had all kinds of issues. My car had very rough idle (Lots of rattles inside the car). I initially though it was from having stiff motor mounts, cams, Ect... With speed density my idle has smoothed out and my dash no longer rattles.

I had an issue with jerky throttle at low speeds. It was almost impossible for me to cruise in a parking lot in 1st gear because my car would start bucking. With speed density this is no longer a problem.

Best of all is how much better my tuning seems (and I haven't even gotten into advanced tuning). I used to have issues with running too rich (and struggled to adjust my fuel correctly). My car would smell rich like E85 fumes inside. Thats cleared up as well.

I would say that speed density has made my high modified Eclipse GSX feel more like stock in terms of drive-ability and smoothness. Yet you floor it and get the power of a 500+ horse power car.
