Ran into some trouble replacing my fuel filter. I have the top line off and im tring to get the filter loose, I cannot get the bottom line off. Any suggestions?

Second, and worse, the line to my fuel rail from the filter is aftermarket, and it came apart the fitting came off the end of the hose, I'm trying to get a pic or two.

They can be a little tricky, I justed used a wrench to hold the nut at the bottom the the filter and twisted with all the man power I had. I am not that strong LOL but it did take some time just keep turning it will eventualy give.

I couldn't agree more with clipto. They can be alittle tricky but you eventually find a way. I got a wrench to hold the screw and with another wrench i got the filter loose. About the line to the fuelrail iwould suggest you tape the end and if you need to cut, go ahead with the taped end. Hope it helps.

Were you turning that silver part to remove it? If so that's why it came off. That isn't the part you turn to remove it. If that isn't the case you were very lucky it didn't come apart while driving. Remove the fitting and redo the end.
The thin item at the fuel filter is the adapter fitting. Above that is the fitting end you would turn to undo it.

Hard to tell by pic if it will thread back in or not, you may have to get a new fitting and hose or find stock hardline and reatach it.

That is real easy to re-attach. Slide the hose over the end of the fitting on the filter up to the threads, than pull the silver piece over, tighten it down and you are done. From there you can just undo it from the lower fitting.
