I'm setting my base timing on my 2G, and yes I have a 1G CAS. Anyway, for some reason I can''t seem to determine which way the degree mark goes on my crank pully. While using a timing light... Which way does the degree count go from the "10 BTDC"? I mean how do I determine the 1 thru 15 degree count go. Not even my service manual show it. Is it from left to right?

I
T is what i set my base timing at... i am pretty sure it means "in time" or something like that..... if you pull your cranksprocket off, you'll see that the cranksprocket for the balance shaft has a little O on it... kind of like the oil pump sprocket, so i line that up, and get the cams lined up on the compression stroke (dowels up) and then my crankshaft pulley sits right at the I
T mark...

so to answer your question, it goes 15-10-5-0

This is what my guess was. Anybody else wanna confirm? However, Zach, I believe that we set our base timing (by timing light) to match the timing on the ECU (with the logger) which should be 5 degrees not 0.
