Need Help On Getting Metal Out Of Block

Here's the deal: my redneck machinist did not clean the block after machining for oil squirters and I do not want to take it out again. So what is the best way to get metal out of the block without harming the rotating assembly? Thank you.

I'm not sure I understand the question. What machining was done with the engine still in?
If the machining was done in an oil passage there is no safe way to clean shavings out without complete disassembly.

short of getting a magnetic oil plug.... i dunno.... change your oil often.... sucks...

Yea, what did he machine for? Unless your block is an N/T, it comes with oil squirters..No machining required unless you are welding them shut.
