Yesterday I installed an Autometer Sport Comp mechanical boost gauge in my 99 GSX. I did not get the back-lighting for it so there was no wiring to be done. After we got it onto the A-pillar I turned on the car and half of the stuff electrical in my car does not work. The ABS, head unit, rear-view mirror lights, trunk light, floor lights, and the key FAB doesn't work. I didn't touch any wires, although I had to route the vacuum line right through all of the electricals near the clutch assembly of my car. I routed it like like most people do it; through the dash at the A-pillar, through the steering wheel column rubber boot, and tapped in to the intake manifold to FPR vacuum line. On top of this the gauge barely works. At full boost it gets up to about 4 psi, an I know I'm running wore than that. Can someone please help me? I just replaced my clutch master cylinder and don't want to have to bring it to the shop again.
