need help.. new to nos

i js put a 50 shot of dry nos kit a couple of weeks ago. haven't sprayed yet.. i have a 95 rs.. with a aem cold air intake, obx header, obx catback, hi flo cat.. my question is will this hurt my engine if i spray it.. or will i be ok....? thankx..
 
i mounted the solenoid on the passenger side. gots more room there.... i teed off the vacuum line of the fuel regulator to the line of one of the tee hose..
 
there is no hooking up to a fuel line on a dry system only on a wet kit..... you should the a 2 solenoids and a nitrous pressure regulator.. the blue thing in the middle of the solenoids.. on that blue thing it should have a hose the splits into too... tee off.. one of the hose i dont remember which one.. gonna check today goes to your existing vacuum line for your car and the other one is teed off to the vacuum line that you unhooked from your existing vacuum line from your fuel pressure regulator.. in other words. take the hose off the fuel pressure regulator tee it off to one of the hose off the nitrous pressure regulator and put the other left over hose of the nitrous pressure regulator to the hose line u took of the fuel pressure regulator.. but you have to call nos to figure out which of the two line is suppose to go to the vacuum of the fuel pressure regulator. cause i forgot. gonna find out today for u though......
 
It sure sounds like you have it hooked up correctly and have a good grasp on how a dry kit work (THANK GOD!!!) As long as you have the correct jets in there for a 50 you will be fine. If my memory serves me correctly it was .28 Nitrous and .42 fuel? Anyways it's something like that I'm sure you can tell me.

Nitrous will not hurt your engine in any way shape or form. Some say it will acctually extend the life of the engine because it cleans up carbon deposits etc. (see www.noswizard.com check out the bulletin board guy is a genious)

As long as you don't try and turn up the spray to go faster and faster you wil be just fine. A 50hp shot on the street maybe a little boring, I would go 75hp but that is your choice. Make sure you get a fuel pump before going over a 50hp shot and with a dry kt you need a high pressure pump because your fuel pressure will be ramped up pretty high so you need a pump that will operate in that range easily.

My 75hp kit gave me 58whp and 79ft/lbs of torque so the HP was not there, but the torque sure was. Either way the boost in HP was good.
 
do u have dry too or wet.. also... wat size aftermarket fuel pump do u have...
 
i'm still lost as to what hoses to tee off. :cry: i understand the vacume lines. but i dont know where they're at. i know of one vacume line that goes along the manifold, its plastic. but i dont know where these others are.

ok....i installed most of the kit, but i'm stumped. the fuel rail test port....i'm supposed to put a nos fuel regualtor there or something like that. but the thing doesnt srew in. how did you all install this part?
 
that is not where the vacuum line is at man... check the other side.. by the fuel pressure regulator under neat the intake manifold....
 
i dont know where the fpr is....so how can i find a vacume line to something i dunno...
