Need help installation of Spal Fan

Just got my 12" pull spal fan from RRE... From what the guy from RRE told me that there are four wires from the orginal harness... 2 positive and 2 negative... All I have to is combine the 2 positive wires and combine the 2 negative wires... And just connect straight to the positive and negative wire from the spal fan...

What are the colors of the positive wire and colors of the negative wire?

And is this a good way to install the spal fan, by combining the positive wires and negative wires...

combining them is for hi -speed .
use a test light to figure out what is what.
