So i just found out that my main fan in my gsx is a puny 10 incher that is probably flowing next to nothing. So i went out shopping and order a 13 inch SPAL fan as the main fan. This one to be exact:

My question is should i wire this fan using the stock harness or using a relay with power directly from the battery. Im concerned of the wiring melting due to the fans current draw. Right now i have 2 10 inch pullers wired together to turn on when i press the ac button in the car. What should i do ?

It shouldn't melt any wires however it will draw a lot of power. My idle drops and lights dim when my 12" Spal turns on, however once it turns on, it's fine. What kind of radiator do you have? I have an aftermarket CX racing aluminum radiator and I can barely fit a 12", not so sure a 13" will fit at all.

You will be good using the stock wiring. I have dual 12" flex-a-lite fans wired to both turn on at the same time. I have had no problems using the stock wiring, but like oneslowwdsm said, idle drops and lights dim when they kick on

When you wire it make sure the polarity is correct when you wire it in or your fan will be a pusher and not a puller.

Also if you are able to add a shroud you can increase the efficiency.
