Doing a little more work on my car today and was going to look about fitting the button/handle mechanism to my Apexi Exhaust Control Valve. When I picked it up to put it in though the inner lock button dropped out of the main handle along with the spring. I put it back in but it will just drop out and is not being held in my anything.
I get the feeling Apexi is going to want me to buy another new handle and cable, costing $100, which I really don't want to do. Does anyone know what is missing on that main centre rod (shown below)? I'm guessing a snapring of some sort but can't work out what or how I could fashion a repair/replacement.
