Need help finding splash guard

Can anyone tell me where to find a front splash guard? Not the left or right or the front air deflector. My car came to me from the dealer with one. It got ripped off a few years ago and I want to put one back on.

Tried: junkyards,OEM dealers, and for sale boards here, thought millerimports had one but it turned out to be a front defelector.

Please help

I believe that I have one that came off my gsx if you want it. Although, I believe most people take it off.

I know most people take it off, but I like to keep my car as original as possible.

I PM'ed you but I would be very surprised if you actually had one.....my hopes have been crushed several times.

Impossible is an understatement. I have looked and asked 100's of places. This item should not be that hard to find. Junkyards don't even want to deal with such a minor part.

Should have kept the pieces of my old one and plastic welded it. I know now,if I find one it will be very will taken care of and fixed if it breaks!

Neither..of those links have a front splash guard shown.

Item 3..it is located between the left and right splash guards and it attaches to the bottom of bumper and to the edges of both the left and right splash guards.

It is believe it or not, light blue in color. Not black like the left and right guards. I can take a photo of a piece of what is left of mine for color reference.

You would be surprised at what JNZ tuning shows but doesn't carry. They claim that as our cars become older Japan doesn't make this stuff anymore.

I bet Cherry Hill Mitsubishi could get it for you. They can order over night parts from Japan.

Have you tried Miller Imports? They should have what you need.

Southwest called a few minutes after I made order and said obsolete.

Miller imports said they had one and sent me a air deflector. They were sorry and made things right, but they did not have this shield.

MS recycling at first said they had one for $45, I said ok. They then said $60 to ship and I said ok. They then said they did not have it.

DSM graveyard does not have it.....the list goes on and on!

I will try Cherry Hill as maybe Japan has not discontinued.

Adding fuel to the fire, I have a Talon and my vin will not work at MIT so I am using a junkyard vin from a eclipse!

Bummer. Yep they don't make new oem parts forever for 18 year old cars - especially non high volume ones. I run into the same thing on my 99.

Yup, it's understandable. I just wish the aftermarket would pick up these. There are tons of left and right shields available from OEM and aftrrmarket.

Unfortunately, it's no different from the US to Japan---if a part is marked Obsolete in Mitsubishi's system, that means that MMC doesn't have any remaining stock anywhere, and aren't ordering any more made.

Sometimes Mitsubishi sells off old inventory to Vintage Parts. However, when this is the case, it is noted as such in Mitsubishi's parts inventory so that we know to contact them for those parts.

Your best bet at this point is simply searching on the used market.

Well, every time I ask a junk yard they say no, because they cannot look up a "lower splash shield" on their computers. Or they like most do not even know what it is.

So, I have resorted to asking for something they have like a front bumper and magically the have a 95/96 Talon part. Then I ask for the lower splash guard. Still have not found one but at least they have quit saying no with out even trying.

Can anyone get me the OEM part number for this item? It will help me a lot.
