ok, car was running 15 psi a week ago. but 3 days ago whenever it start to boost i get to anywhere betweens 0 to 7 psi and you can feel it begin to pull, but then it feels like it looses power but the turbo spools to 15+ psi? it kinda sounds like airs leaking somewhere but im not sure if its that or if im just hearing the turbo spooling with the intake filter. i'm not sure if this is considered a boost leak, creep, or spike, or maybe something completely different. ive checked couplers hoses, mbc . i dont have a leak tester so is there anything i can do????? please help!! ive any opinion would be greatly appreciated as i just spent a buch of money to have the car done and now i cant drive it and i need it for work.

Boost leak test, check base timing.

You own a turbo DSM, buy or make a boost leak tester, you will use it 100 times. It's indispensable. It should sit in your toolbox right between the 12mm and 14mm wrenches.:thumb:

More then likely a clamp is lose and you are loseing air under boost. Go to your local hardware store & make a boost leak tester, the parts will maybe cost you $20. Get this done and post back, trying to figure out what happening without first doing a boost leak test is just a stab in the dark.

thanks for the boost leaktest advice, im gonna go see if i can get the stuff to do it in a little. jw, ive had others say that maybe it has something to do with my knock sensor picking up knock and retarding my timing? is there anyway to correct that or anyway that i can check to see if the sensor is bad? thanks again?
