I know im new and i know ive asked alot of questions already. I have the Suspicion that i have a severe boost leak. my big 16g doesnt spool up untill 4 1/2 k.

I dont have a air compressor and have never looked for a leak before. Can anyone help me do this? I can pay a little money and bring some beers. Please help. Thanks

You can make a boost leak tester, and go to your nearest gas station and use their air.

Or buy an air tank at walmart or something.

Those seem to be the cheapest ways.

Actually another is using a bike pump. But that isn't always effective depending on how bad the problem is.

Yeah im almost 100% sure there is a pretty huge leak somewhere. Im gonna make my own tommorow morning but i would really like someone with expierience to help me. I did a boost leake test with my old dsm and couldnt find it although a buddy of mine did. Any help will be greatly appreciated.:dsm:

i can hear its a boost leak, the turbo doesnt whistle at all it just sounds like air leaking from somewhere. SOMEONE please help!

Im in desperate need someone please jus spare 15 minutes of thier time.

I would pull your heat shields off the turbo and o2 housings because it sounds to me like a good possibility that your turbo is old and the wastgate passage has cracked not letting the turbo build boost very easy.
