I’ve owned my 95 GST for 15 years, it was my high school hot rod. It spun a rod, I had the motor rebuilt, I put it back in and drove it for a few weeks until it lost spark.

That was maybe 13 years ago. If I recall, I unplugged a plug and routed it better through the intake. When I went to plug it back in, I had two options and decided, what’s the worst that could happen? Went to start it and no spark. Tried the other plug, still no spark. I bought an evo and the car began to collect dust.

A few years later, maybe 2013? My dad tried replacing a few parts (I don’t recall exactly what) and had it running on 2 cylinders. I believe he jumped the coils and had it running rough on 4, took it for a spin and blew the head gasket. Fast forward to this year, I reassembled the motor and am ready to get it going!

I have everything back in, no leaks, motor sounds healthy when turning over, still no spark. I’ve noticed I have what I believe is a 1G cam angle sensor cable with a white wire cut. Should this be routed somewhere? It was covered under tape.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know you said it's not running on 2 cylinders any longer however, depending on which 2 could potentially point to your PTU which is that little black plug that sit between you intake manifold and your fuel rail that has the long connector plug into it.

I would definitely first fix up that white wire though. I don't have any direction for you regarding that unfortunately.
