ok guys, as alot of you know i have been bugging and bugging you guys, with advice on Intercoolers for my 98 gst, i need to make my decision by monday (tommarow) and i've pretty much narrowed it down to 2-3 IC....

option 1: an intercooler kit from ForceInductionracing....

I like the last one. It looks more complete than the first, and I don't like the piping design, or the price of a Greddy.

the only differences between the 1st on and last one is the price (1st $500, last $800) and that the last one includes the upper "L" pipe, which i already have, but your right nontheless, the last one does look like its better quality and more complete.....i hate the piping set up on the greddy and thats the reason i've stayed away from it....thanks for the help....anyone else?>

Which one is a Greddy?

The first one is a Mishimoto or whatever ic you can get for $200-some for the biggie 24" version. I just put one on the other day. If you don't want to make your own pipes, (and who does since it's annoying), I'd go with one of the kits in the first link. They are reasonable. Make sure it's bar and plate, though. They're getting a good profit on the 24" over the 18", but if you're going to get one, may as well get the 24" and never have to upgrade ever.

Note: a 12" high intercooler isn't the easiest thing in the world to mount. It'll fit, but you have to be somewhat exact when mounting it to avoid hitting dead skunks or whatever on the road.

edit: If that second link is for the 7" high version. ###gedaboutit. Too small; not worth the bother. The cores aren't even 3". Bah.

i just bought the extreme intercooler system for the 7" system that was on ebay. i'm waiting for it to come to my door right now. on the extreme intercooler site, the 7" hybrid core is rated to 450hp.

i havea t28 turbo, so i'll see how it gets out. i'm wanting to get push 350bhp out of it.
