i am using the 240 right now all i have is the 240, celica, and the escalade

When I started, I started with the 240, got a navigator, and didnt get another car till the suora was available, then I got a gsx. I got to say the 240 is my fastest quarter mile car, Ive hit a new record with ti like at 8.2 couple days ago.

Could have bought a gsx! I bet this setup looks pretty nice though. Although you can get a comp with same performance for $3k or less minus the monitors, the cost is all in the name brand

Man this game strips away your life! I started playing on sunday when I got the game at 10 o'clock, and by the time I looked at the clock again it was around 3:30AM.. + I'm still in high school so I got school the next day... My eyes are bloodshot from the all nighters since then and I am lucky if I find time for homework and food...nonetheless, it is definitely way better than the first NFSU and this is the first game I own that you can't just beat in two days.

I just got the stage 2 mods done for my eclipse and I'm hitting 379.1hp on the dyno and a best 1/4 time of 9.66 w/nitrous.
Anybody want to share any tuning tips on how they tune. I see great gains after performance mods are added and a then after I do a little dyno tuning I can usually squeak out a few more ponies, but it seems like during the drag races I easily blow my engine if I'm not careful on the go button .-Phil

that sounds about right, when you tune the ecu and turbo, make sure to fill up your high rpm range all the way to gain most hp, when runnint the quarter mile, make sure you launch in the green rpm needle, and hit it through every gear in the green zone, set you nitrous graph to be in the middle of the line, and when racing throught the quarter mile, make sure to hit the nitrous right when you get into second gear.

Some of these horsepower to quarter mile time ratio's just do NOT seem accurate.

yes the 1/4 mile times are way off, however the horsepower and torque figures seem accurate for the mods. Also, is there a way to see your lambo doors and suicide doors outside of the photoshoot sessions in career mode?

not all at once... you can do it under the part where you pick what parts are going on your car.

Well, could a 505 whp 240 with gutted interior and laughing gas up the ass hit an 8 in real life? I mean how much shot of nitrous would you need in real life? I know that the times are off but just pondering.

right now with my gsx im at 460hp, all stage2 mods. as far as tuning goes, the gsx is the only car it makes a difference. i dynoed at 420hp at 6k, i then raised the bars at 6k and up to 8k, i was able to squeeze out another 35hp. i tried that with the mustang and tuning did nothing. same with my rsx.

right now my gsx is the gloss blue with bronze volks and blue undercars. nothing too fancy. i riced out the rsx in the beginning and havent touched it since. now im just messing around doing mad drifts with the stang. still only about 48% done with the game.

by the way, the horsepower figures u get on the dyno are bhp not whp, just thought id point it out cause alot of ppl think its wat the cars are layin down...another lil "bug" of the game.

I do like the fact that you can put Lambo doors on the car. I'll have to put a pic of the lambo doors up on this thread
