I have a 95 gsx with stock 7 bolt head. I'm running a evo3 16g with evo 3 exhaust manifold, 190 rewired walbro, 560cc evo injectors, everything else is pretty much stock including the exhaust and smic.

If I run at 22lb of boost will I need to get arp headstuds?

That my friend is somthing only your motor knows:pray:. People will tell you yes and so will I. Get yourself a good head gasket in there too. Do you need them? NO, Will they help keep your head from lifting? Yes.

To be honest sir we never recommend reusing OEM head bolts, and if you follow that advice I believe OEM replacement head bolts are more expensive than the ARP units. In my opinion anyone running significantly higher than stock boost levels, let alone a larger turbo, should have these in their engine!

ARP Cylinder Head Studs (DSM) - Modern Automotive Performance

even if someone has a bone stock car and they are rebuilding to bone stock again they need ARP with out a doubt everyone needs a good set of ARP Head Studs, Main Studs, Rod Bolts, and Harmonic Balancer Bolt

Um...No. I would go for the rod bolts in addition to the head studs IF you are ripping into the engine that far.

You are supposed to line hone when you install main studs; the stock main bolts are fine.

Mine pushed coolant at ~350 h.p. Slap them ARP's in there and sealing nice and tight even up to ~440 h.p. Every car is different though, I run a crap load of ignition timing advance which likes to separate the head from the block:D Its such an easy & cheap replacement.
