Im looking for the best street legal drag radial tire. That doesnt really sacrifice handling around turns. my setup is a 2g awd with tockico 5 way, eibach pro kit that will be making 500 to the wheels off the juice(fingers crossed)... .....I need something that will better my launch and allow me to hook .....thanks guys, nick

The new falken Azenis RT-215's should work pretty good for you if you want to turn as well. What tire size are you looking to run? 16's, 17's, 18's?

i will be running 17" volk te37 rims... i havent got them yet.. but I will have them...I dont know exactly what size I should do.. though... i know i have to do 17's to accomadate for the big brake upgrade but dont know how wide i should go for tires and rims.. if you guys could help me with the size also.. that would be great.... thanks, nick

You might want to check out the new Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials. We have a customer running these on a LS-1 Camaro with 175hp nitrous shot. With no other suspension mods he's 60' at 1.6. They're very soft though he's been through 3 sets this summer!

The problem with that is Mickey Thompson doesn't make shit that fits dsm's well. The only two that would even work at all are the 235/60-15's, and the 255/50-16's. Neither of which make a good fit on a dsm. In 17" they only make one size, 275/45-17.

The falken Rt-615's are a much better match as far as fitting on a 17" rim. They have a number of fitments that would fit a dsm including 235/40R17 which will be available in the 2nd quarter of 2006, 215/45R17 available in the 2nd quarter of 2006, or 225/45R17 and 215/40R17 which are available right now.
