Need a proper opinion

Had some extra money to spend. Figured it was a why not situation. Bought a Weapon R Dragon Air Filter. Just for looks obviously. They do say it intakes more and better air with longer quality than most of the other filters though. So who knows. Anyways, hows it look?

Looks good, I say paint/powder coat the vc the same color and polish the raised letter/numbers to complement e/o.

Good suggestion, Painting and Polishing though.... my weak point. Kind of have a fear of trying it and looking stupid. What kind of tools or paint would I need?

You can have the valve cover powdercoated instead. It will not only look good, but will also be a durable coating that will not get messed up very easily. The black valve cover is factory. You'll need to get some aircraft remover (found at parts stores or walmart, the gel works best) and get the old paint off and paint it otherwise, it's fairly simple to do.

For polishing I use a dremel with a carbon steel wire wheel to remove the nasty stuff than come back with some 800 than 2000 grit sandpaper to filter out all the imperfections than come back with a polishing wheel and compound but this process is extremely time consuming but worth the wait.....

Haha extra money as in like a extra $55 bucks. Not the couple g's needed to turbo the 420a. But I am allowed to dream
