Need a power source

Alright I need a power source while the car is in remote start mode that can power my lm-1 and will stay on while driving.

Goal is to be able to remote start the car and have the lm-1 power up as soon as the car starts. Previously I had the lm-1 hooked up to the cig lighter but when I remote start the car the cig lighter doesnt get power untill I go and actually put the key in the ignition.

Don't know what a Im-1 is - how much current does it draw? If less than 3A and you need power all the time, tie into the stop light switch. For only while running, use the MPI relay. If more than 3A you'll need it's own relay.

And you were running it out of the cig lighter?
Just find either a constant, or devise a switched-with-relay-through-starting-circuit supply for it.
Your remote starter should have a provision for powering-up accessories when used.

Yes that is the lm-1 I am refering to and originally it comes with the plug so you can just plug it into the cig lighter.

I was thinking the remote start should have a acc that can be used but was not sure.
